The December session of the Cumberland County Commission was held electronically due to an increase in COVID-19 cases in the county. Items on the agenda included the hiring of a director for the Emergency Management Agency following the resignation of Rick Williams who left the post to take another position elsewhere. Commissioners approved County Mayor Allen Foster’s recommendation of current Assistant, Travis Cole to fill the position. The resolution naming Cole to the post was approved unanimously.
