Governor Bill Lee has signed Senate Joint Resolution 1051 (SJR 1051), officially recognizing November 2026 as Veterans Month in Tennessee to honor the service and sacrifice of Tennessee’s more than 440,000 veterans. The resolution acknowledges that a single day of observance is not sufficient to fully express the gratitude owed to America’s Veterans.. The designation of Veterans Month will also encourage communities, organizations, schools, businesses, and citizens across Tennessee to participate in events and initiatives recognizing Veterans throughout the month of November.
