According to a release from Tennessee Athletics, Game times for the first three weekends of the 2026 college football season were announced as part of SEC Spring Meetings at the Sandestin Hilton on Wednesday.
Tennessee will open its season on Sept. 5 against Furman at 2:30 p.m. on SEC Network+/ESPN+ from Neyland Stadium.
The following week on Sept. 12, the Volunteers will travel to Atlanta to face Georgia Tech in a 6 p.m. primetime kickoff on ESPN. It will be the first meeting between the two teams inside Bobby Dodd Stadium since Oct. 25, 1986.
Tennessee’s final non-conference game against Kennesaw State on Sept. 19 is set for a 6:45 p.m. start on SEC Network.
Game time windows – early, afternoon, night or flex – for the remainder of the 2026 schedule will be announced on June 10 at 6 p.m. on SEC Network.
