The annual District 6AAA Media Day took place Monday at Cookeville High School, the site of this season’s district tournament. Girls and boys addressed the media and their previews for the upcoming 2020-2021 season.
The coaches’ poll and media poll were almost similar with a few changes. On the coaches pick for the girls, Stone Memorial was picked first, White Co. was picked second, Cookeville third, Warren Co. fourth and Rhea Co. fifth. In the coaches boys poll, White Co. was picked first, Warren Co. was second, Stone Memorial third, Cookeville fourth and Rhea Co. fifth.
On the media side in the girls poll, Stone Memorial was first, White Co. second, Cookeville third, Rhea Co. fourth and Warren Co. fifth. On the boys poll, White Co. was first, Stone Memorial was second, Warren Co. third, Cookeville fourth and Rhea Co. fifth.
Warren Co. will start their season Nov. 17 in the Hall of Champions game against Community High School at the Charlie Dalton Gym. Tipoff is at 6pm.
