More than 20,000 people have voted early in Cumberland County. As of the close of polls on Tuesday, October 27, the early vote total was 20,558 with 1,118 casting their ballots on Tuesday.
As of the close of polls on Monday, Oct. 26, the 11th day of early voting in Tennessee, a record-breaking 1,808,546 voters had cast their ballot for the Nov. 3 presidential election.
The previous record was set during the 2016 presidential election when 1,689,989 Tennesseans voted early or absentee by-mail.
Election Day is Tuesday, Nov. 3.
The final day of early voting is Thursday, Oct. 29.
