Cumberland County voters turn out in large numbers

Voters across the state turned out to cast ballots in a year fraught with unusual circumstances. Cumberland County was no exception with over 32,000 persons voting in the presidential election. Cumberland County posted a 72 percent turnout rate. 9402 persons voted on Election Day, while early voting totaled 19,817. The Cumberland County Election Commission reported 3374 paper absentee ballots were also counted.
