With less than one month until the December 4, 2020 mentor recruitment deadline, tnAchieves still needs several mentors just in Cumberland County and 2,700 additional volunteer mentors are needed statewide to ensure students have access to a local support system in 2021.
tnAchieves mentors will serve their community from the safety of their homes using the new virtual mentoring platform called tnAchieves CONNECT.
Mentors spend about one hour per month reminding students of important deadlines, serving as a trusted college resource, and, most importantly, encouraging students to reach their full potential.
