Ooltewah Rep. Mike Carter Diagnosed With Pancreatic Cancer

Tennessee State Representative Mike Carter, of Ooltewah, has been diagnosed with pancreatic cancer just two months after he was hospitalized with COVID-19. In a Tweet, Representative Carter said he thought he was experiencing lingering symptoms from the coronavirus when a follow up trip to Vanderbilt Hospital revealed his cancer. Representative Carter has already started treatment and he intends to continue to serve in the Legislature
