Jeremy Pruitt and his Tennessee Volunteers traveled south to Auburn Alabama to take on the Auburn Tigers. Tennessee was looking to repeat a game in 2018 where the Vols defeated a top 25 Auburn team in Jordan-Hare Stadium. The Vols jumped out to a quick 10-0 lead over Auburn however the Tigers were able to score 27 unanswered points to take a 10-27 lead. The Tigers held on to defeat Pruitt’s Vols 30-17. This is the first time in program history Tennessee has lost 5 straight games by double digit deficits. The Vols will head to Music CIty this Saturday to take on instate Rival the Vanderbilt Commodores.
