Mentors with tnAchieves serve as an additional layer of support for TN Promise students as they navigate the college-going process and tnAchieves is taking a moment to celebrate mentors who have served their community for at least five years! In Cumberland County, the following community members have served as a mentor for at least five years: Mark Bolin, Carmen Devault, Holly Hanson, Beth Kreis, Brian Mcdonald, Patricia Mckean, Lynne Schwaberow, Andrea Simmons, Sherry Smith and Kara Vanhoy. With less than two weeks until the December 4, 2020 mentor recruitment deadline, more than 1,900 mentors are still needed statewide. All tnAchieves mentors are provided training and a handbook.
