The Crossville Police Department, Cumberland County Sheriff’s Department and area law enforcement are mourning the loss of a fellow officer. Crossville Police Detective Jason Wilson, age 40, has passed away after falling ill Monday night. The exact cause of his death has not been released. Detective Wilson was a 12-year-veteran of the Crossville Police Department and in October he had graduated from the TBI Fire And Codes Academy.
