Sunday afternoon the Tennessee Lady Volunteers basketball program traveled to Morgantown, West Virginia to take action against Big-12 conference member the West Virginia Mountaineers. Red Shirt Senior Kysre Gondrezick led the Mountaineers in scoring totaling a career high of 27 points. She would also led her team to defeat the Lady Volunteers in Overtime with a final score of 79-73. Tennessee having flashbacks of last season by committing 20 turnovers which resulted in 19 WVU points. Rae Burrell top the scoring charts for the Lady Vols with 18 points. Next Up for Burrell and her Lady Volunteer teammates will be a date with the Furman Paladins from Greenville, South Carolina on December 10th at 6:00 PM.
