A routine traffic stop led to the arrest of a Georgia couple suspected of burglaries and stolen catalytic converters. Early Sunday morning, Crossville Police observed a truck with a trailer pulling into the old Ford dealership. The vehicle pulled out at a high rate of speed and that’s when police noticed the truck and trailer did not have a registration and initiated a traffic stop. Police say both the male and female gave false names. Inside the truck vehicle officers found a counterfeit $100 bill, a lock picking kit, several phones and a Georgia registration plate. The couple was later identified as 22-year-old Jared Allen Ball and 21-year-old Destanie Hope Cook, both of Georgia. Ms. Cook was charged with Criminal Impersonation. Mr. Ball was also charged with Criminal Impersonation and held for an extradition warrant out of Walker County, Georgia for stolen property crossing over state lines. The truck and trailer were towed and held for further investigation.
