A Crossville man was arrested after he reportedly struck a patrol car while fleeing from police who were responding to a bar fight at an establishment on Highway 70 East. Police arrived on the scene around 3am Saturday and found a white SUV stopped in the roadway in the wrong lane. The vehicle reportedly sped forward, hit a patrol car and continued inbound on Highway 70 East. A felony stop was conducted and 29-year-old Justin M. Taylor was detained and charged with Leaving The Scene Of An Accident, Evading Arrest and Driving Under The Influence. Taylor’s passenger, 28-year-old Robert Gonzolaz, of Brooklyn, New York was also detained. Witnesses told Police that Taylor and Gonzolaz were involved in a confrontation with another man inside the bar. Taylor and Gonzolaz went outside and the third man followed them into the parking lot where the fight actually occurred. The third man was taken to the hospital for treatment of his injuries.
