Cumberland County Sheriff Casey Cox re-elected to Appalachia HIDTA Executive Board

Cumberland County Sheriff Casey Cox has been re-elected to serve on the 2021 Appalachia High Intensity Drug Trafficking Area Executive Board for another full term. The AHIDTA Executive Board provides executive leadership and direction on a multitude of issues pertaining to drug enforcement throughout the AHIDTA area of responsibility, which include 93 designated counties in Kentucky, Tennessee, Virginia and West Virginia.

Executive Director Vic Brown said, “Sheriff Casey Cox has proven himself to be an expert in the drug policy arena. He is highly respected in the Tennessee law enforcement community. His leadership and expertise will continue to benefit the Appalachia HIDTA Executive Board”.

Sheriff Casey Cox will work jointly with a very prestigious group of law enforcement leaders throughout Appalachia HIDTA’s area of responsibility.
