During the regular monthly session of the Cumberland County Board of Education, board members approved a request for overnight stays of the CCHS and SMHS boys’ soccer teams. The teams are to travel to Gatlinburg for the Smoky Mountain Cup tournament on March 19th and 20th. Several members express concerns about social distancing during the overnight trip, but the board voted 6-3 in approval.
