The Tennessee Department of Environment and Conservation (TDEC) and the Tennessee Valley Authority (TVA) have announced a partnership to develop and fund an electric vehicle fast charging network across Tennessee.
Through the development of an EV fast charging network in Tennessee, TVA and TDEC seek to reduce transportation electrification barriers and further the Drive Electric Tennessee goal of 200,000 EVs in Tennessee by 2028.
In addition to partnering with TDEC in Tennessee, TVA is working with other agencies to deploy EV fast charging infrastructure across its entire seven-state service area.
