Saturday afternoon Cumberland County played host to the teams from Grundy County High School. The Lady Jets ran their District record to a perfect 7 and 0 with a 79-34 win over the Lady Yellow Jackets. In the final game the Jets battled the Yellow Jackets and dropped a 94-66 decision to the visitors. Cumberland County is scheduled to play at Bledsoe County on Tuesday (2/9). The District action will tip at 6:00 and live coverage will air on 102.5 WOW COUNTRY.
Stone Memorial is scheduled to return to action on Tuesday with road games at Clarkrange. SMHS will travel to Sparta this Friday (2/12) to play their final regular season District games at White County High School. The action Friday is on Mix 99.3.
