Cumberland County recorded another COVID-19 death on Thursday, February 11, 2021 bringing the death toll to 109.  Positive cases went up by 27 to 5,901.  Wednesday also saw a large increase in positive cases. Cumberland County Mayor Allen Foster says the spike in positive cases is due to a data correction made by the state.  A health department spokesperson confirmed the changes were due to data quality checks which involve cross-checking the addresses of cases and reassigning cases attributed to the incorrect county to the correct county.

Morgan County reports 30 COVID-19 deaths.

Statewide on Thursday 81 new COVID-19 deaths were reported for a total death count of 10,812.  Positive cases went up in Tennessee by 1,624 for a total of 752,033 coronavirus cases.  There are 1,232 current hospitalizations and 716,136 are inactive/recovered.
