Cumberland County residents who have received COVID-19 vaccination continue to increase. Currently, 14,074, or 14.72 percent of the population has received at least one dose of COVID-19 vaccination. Of these, just over 6 percent of the population has received one dose, while 8.5 percent have received the necessary two-doses of the vaccine.
These numbers are more than the state average, as 10.66 percent statewide have received at least one dose.
In surrounding counties, 13.43 percent of Putnam Co.residents have received at least one dose, 11.59 percent in Morgan Co., 9.6 percent in Fentress Co., 10.66 percent in Overton Co. and almost 10 percent in Roane Co. Statewide over 1.13 million have received at least one dose.
