Farm Bureau Women Announce Their Give Back Program To Feed Elementary Students

Now through March 31, the Cumberland County Farm Bureau Women will be participating in the “Farm Bureau Gives Back” program by collecting non-perishable food donations for the local Back Pack program to fight hunger for elementary children. Food items should be non-perishable that are single serve or have multiple, individual servings as well has being as nutritional as possible. Some suggested items include applesauce, crackers, pasta, soup, beef jerky/sticks, granola and cereal bars, juice boxes, mac-n-cheese, raisins, ramen noodles, pork n’ beans, and snack cakes.  Food donations may be dropped off at the Cumberland County Farm Bureau Office, 855 West Avenue in Crossville, from 8am to 5pm, Monday through Friday.  Monetary donations will also be accepted during this time for those who prefer not to shop for food items.   If you have questions, you may contact the Farm Bureau Office at 931-484-5131.
