A Pig Path Road Man was arrested Sunday on multiple charges after Crossville Police noticed his tag had been altered on his vehicle. Police say they attempted to stop 30-year-old Willie Ashton Dyal near the Miller Mart when Dyal reportedly pulled into the parking lot, exited the vehicle and fled down an embankment and ran into a wooded area on Martin Elementary school property. Dyal gave up in the woods and was placed in custody. Dyal was charged with Violation of the Sex Offender Registry, Evading Arrest and for Altering A Tag. He was also given two City citations for not wearing his seatbelt. The tag was seized and Mr. Dyal was transported to intake for booking.
