A man was injured in a shooting Thursday morning in Cumberland County. According to a Press Release from the office of Sheriff Casey Cox, on Thursday, September 30, 2021, at approximately 7:45 a.m. Cumberland County Deputies and emergency responders were dispatched to Neverfail Road for a report of a gunshot wound. Police say the shooting injured one man and an active investigation is underway at this time. The victim was airlifted to Erlanger Medical Center for a gunshot wound. The investigation is active and no identifying information is being released at this time. Additional releases will be forthcoming as information becomes available.
