The Cumberland County High School Jets held their homecoming game Friday night as they played host to the Blue Devils from Jackson County.  The road team enjoyed a 10-0 advantage at the half, but the Jets rallied and recorded a 20-16 victory.  CCHS is now 5 and 4 on the season.

Stone Memorial was on the road Friday as the Panthers traveled to Kingston to take on the Yellow Jackets.  The Panthers and their state ranked opponent battled to the wire and for the second straight season the Panthers posted a 1-point win.  The final; Panthers 34 Yellow Jackets 33.  SMHS improves to 6 and 3 with the victory.

Friday, October 29th the regular season comes to a close.  The SMHS Panthers will host DeKalb County in a Region match-up.  The kickoff is set for 7:00 with live coverage beginning at 6:45 on Mix 99.3. CCHS will also be at home as the Jets play a Region game against Macon County.  Game time is 7:00, pre-game coverage begins at 6:45 on 102.5 WOW COUNTRY.
