The Cumberland County High School Jets and Lady Jets traveled to Macon County for District games Friday night and posted a pair of big wins. The Lady Jets downed the Tigerettes 60-25, and the Jets recorded a 60-37 win over the Tigers. Saturday it’s another road trip for CCHS as they play at Livingston Academy. Stone Memorial High School played host to DeKalb County Friday night. Playing District games on back-to-back nights the SMHS teams split the two games. The Panthers posted a 58-51 win, and the Lady Panthers dropped a 60-59 decision to the Lady Tigers. SMHS steps outside the District on Saturday as they host Warren County then it’s back to District play with games at CCHS on Tuesday. The District action is on Mix 99.3.
