The District 7AAA High School Basketball Tournament tips off Tuesday and the SMHS Lady Panthers will travel to Sparta to take on the White County High School Warriorettes in a first-round match-up with the winner advancing to the semi-finals on Friday. Wednesday the CCHS Jets play host to the DeKalb County Tigers in a first-round game with a trip to Friday’s semi-finals on the line. The games on Tuesday and Wednesday will tip at 6:00. The CCHS Lady Jets and the SMHS Panthers claimed top-seeds in the tournament and will both see their first action in the semi-finals.
