On Thursday, March 17, 2022 at approximately 9:55 PM the Fairfield Glade Police Department responded to a residence on Grouse Court in the Wilshire Heights neighborhood. Officers responded to a report that someone entered the residence by force. Officers arrived on scene and made contact with the residents of the home. It was determined that the suspect who entered the residence had fled the scene. Upon investigation it was determined that one resident sustained a minor injury and a firearm was recovered from the scene that possibly belonged to the suspect. The injury to the resident of the home was not a result of a discharge of the weapon. The Cumberland County Sheriff’s Office was notified and Sheriff’s Office investigators responded. This incident remains under investigation by the Cumberland County Sheriff’s Office, Fairfield Glade Police Department and the Office of the District Attorney General.
