Amanda Worley wins Republican Primary for General Sessions Judge

Amanda Worley, Assistant District Attorney, won the nomination for General Sessions Judge in the Republican Primary on Tuesday, picking up 4,246 votes to top the field.   Nathan Clouse garnered 3,172 votes, while Crossville City Judge Ivy Gardner Mayberry earned 2,111. Holly A Lee will be an Independent candidate for General Sessions Judge against Amanda Worley.

In the race for Circuit Judge Part 2, Caroline Knight received the Republican nomination with 6,244 votes over Jonathan Young with 2,381.  Other judge candidates who were unopposed in the primary included Will Ridley for Circuit Court Judge Part 1, Ronald Thurman for 13th Judicial District, Gary McKenzie for Criminal Court Judge 13th Judicial District Part 1, and Wesley Bray for Criminal Court Judge 13th Judicial District Part 2.
