Officials in Roane County are investigating the fatal shooting of a man late Friday afternoon. The Roane County Sheriff’s office responded to Hassler Mill Road in Harriman around 5pm Friday and discovered 51-year-old Wayne Fross deceased from a gunshot wound. The case is still under investigation.
