Remains Of Missing Cumberland County Woman Found In Anderson County

Authorities have confirmed that remains found in Anderson County are those of a missing Cumberland County woman.  A Silver Alert was issued earlier this month for 71-year-old Sue Ellen Corley who was last been seen on June 30. The TBI said that Corley had a medical condition that may have impaired her ability to return home safely.  The TBI did not immediately disclose the circumstance surrounding the discovery of her body but did state on Twitter “Our thoughts are with those who knew and loved her during this difficult time.” (Photo courtesy TBI)
