Boater Allegedly Shot By Group Of Men Drinking And Firing Guns

WVLT reports that five young men were arrested after they allegedly shot a boater while they were drinking and firing guns on the Holston River.  The men were reportedly shooting at a target on the riverbank when a passing boater was shot in the hip. The boater was taken to the University of Tennessee Medical Center with life-threatening injuries.
