New faces coming to the Cumberland County Commission

The Cumberland County Commission will be made up of the following: representing the 1^st District, Dewey Walker and Sue York, for District 2, Nancy Hyder and Tom Isham. Darrell Threet and Rebecca Stone were the top two in the voting to earn a seat representing the 3^rd District. It was a three-way race in District 4 with David Gibson and Charles Seiber edging out Cam Wyatt. In the 5^th District, Terry Lowe and Jack Davis retained their seats over contender Edward Caples. Joe Sherrill and Wendell Wilson will continue to represent the 6^th District. In the 7^th District, incumbents Mark Baldwin and Jerry Cooper held off a challenge from Jeff Lane. The 8^th District had a four-way race with incumbent Deborah Holbrook keeping her seat, while Greg Maxwell picked up an open seat. Colleen Mall and John Patterson were unopposed in the 9^th District.
