A missing University of Tennessee student has been found dead in the Great Smoky Mountains National Park. Bryce Evans, age 23, was reported missing on Monday, August 1. His family says he was headed for an internship at the University of North Carolina at Charlotte but never arrived. According to WVLT, his vehicle was discovered in the national park Thursday night in the area of Balsam Mountain Trailhead. Rangers found his body Friday about 20 yards off the trail, which was one and a half miles from his vehicle. Cause of death was not immediately released.
