The ballot is set for November’s municipal elections

One candidate filed papers for the upcoming Crossville Mayoral race. Current Crossville City Council Member RJ Crawford submitted papers for the office of Crossville Mayor. Three candidates have qualified to run for Crossville City Council, in addition to incumbents Rob Harrison and Art Gernt, former Crossville Fire Chief Mike Turner will also vie for one of the two available seats. In Crab Orchard, Kenneth Alley and Mike Findley are running for alderman, and in Pleasant Hill, Don Dowdey has filed to run for Pleasant Hill Mayor, while incumbent council member, Peggy Happy, along with Marvin Steelman will be on the ballot for 2 council seats. The election is set for November 8th.
