The unbeaten Stone Memorial High School Panthers, the ninth ranked team in the State in this week’s Associated Press Class 4A State Top Ten, traveled to Jamestown Friday night to take on the York Institute Dragons. The Panthers snapped the Dragons 4 game winning streak and improved to 6 and 0 on the season with a 44-7 victory.
Friday, the Cumberland County High School Jets played host to the Polk County Wildcats for homecoming. The Jets enjoyed a 10-6 lead at the half, but the visitors scored 15 unanswered second half points to post a 21-10 win.
Friday, September 30th, SMHS plays at CCHS. The kickoff is set for 7:00 with pre-game coverage beginning at 6:45. The Panthers broadcast will air on Mix 99.3 with Jets coverage on 102.5 WOW COUNTRY.
