A judge has denied a new trial for Joseph Daniels, who was convicted of second-degree murder and felony murder in the 2018 death of his 5-year-old autistic son, Joe Clyde. Baby Joe’s body was never found and Joseph Daniels’ attorney argued Tuesday that the conviction should be thrown out for insufficient evidence. However, Judge David Wolfe said that allegation was not reasonable because Daniels had admitted in the trial that he had killed his son.
