The Stone Memorial High School Panthers played host to the Macon County Tigers in a Region game Friday night as the seventh ranked team in the State entertained the ninth ranked team. SMHS suffered their first loss of the season as the Tigers recorded a 35-34 win. The Panthers are now 7 and 1.
Also Friday night, the Cumberland County High School Jets were on the road playing the Wildcats at Livingston Academy. CCHS scored the game’s only touchdown late in the second quarter and posted a 7-0 victory.
Friday, October 14th, the Panthers, and Jets will have open dates. The teams return to action on Friday, October 21st as SMHS plays host to Kingston and CCHS travels to Jackson County.
