On October 19, 2022, at approximately 0850 am, Fairfield Glade Police was dispatched to a residence in Fairfield Glade for a missing adult. Officers immediately searched the home and the surrounding area. The elderly adult was located near the neighbor’s back porch lying facedown. Emergency Medical Services (E.M.S.) responded and transported the resident to the Food City parking lot where a medical helicopter landed and airlifted the resident to UT Knoxville Medical Center.
Cumberland County Sheriff’s Office Investigators responded to the residence to conduct an investigation. The investigation continues, however, there does not appear to be any foul play in this incident.
There is no current update on the resident’s condition, however, adult protective services have been notified.
