Goodyear blimp passes over Crossville

If you were looking to the sky around lunchtime on Wednesday, you might have noticed a rare sight over Crossville. It wasn’t a bird, nor a plane, or even the Man of Steel. The Wingfoot II Goodyear blimp made a pass over the Cumberland Plateau while on its way to its home in Florida. The aircraft left northern Ohio Tuesday evening after spending two months there. The tire company operates three aircraft dubbed the Wingfoot I, II and III.
