Sales tax collections for Crossville remain above projections

Revenue from sales tax slipped from the previous month in Crossville but remained above last years collections. The City took in just over $963,000 for the latest reporting period, a 13% increase. Wholesale beer tax collections were up 10% over last  year while liquor income is holding steady at just over $98,000 for the year to date. Collections from the hotel occupancy tax continue to shine with just under $70,000 in revenue from the year to date.
